Danvac are delighted to have supplied Saint Gobain PAM with an ergonomically designed pipe lifter, capable of handling up to 6.9m long Ductile Iron pipes.  With a nominal diameter range of 350-1000mm, the unit has 3 different interchangeable pad frames –  exchanged quick and easy with the top frame.

Using a Radio-controlled operation of suck/release and nylon locating rollers on the pads, allows the operator to stay in control at ground level rather than needing to climb onto the trailer, eliminating the associated hazards with working at height.

Powder coated steelwork and IP65 rated electrical panels ensure constant outdoor use.  The unit was manufactured with a power supply of 24V DC using 2 x 96-amp hour batteries, providing a full week long lifespan before further charging is required.

This particular design has been a first for Danvac and they are hoping to provide further units throughout the next year.
